MoBroadbandNow, a private-public partnership, was launched summer of 2009 in efforts to aggressively compete for federal funds, under the 2009 American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA), to expand broadband accessibility to 95 percent of the total population of Missouri, a significant increase from current projected accessibility of 79.7 percent. Work done as part of a larger project under the supervision of Dr. Connie Book of Elon University.
